Road Closures Spring & Summer 2024
PHASE 4
We are now in Phase 4 of the road closure in South Street Crewkerne. This means that Station Road, Crewkerne is closed for out-bound traffic. Vehicles coming INTO Crewkerne on A356 may do so, as Station Road is open to one-way traffic. The junction of Kithill and South Street is now fully open again.
DIRECTIONS TO ANTIQUES BAZAAR.
There is now no need to take any diversion to reach us at TA18 8AG.
FROM YEOVIL. Follow A30 into Crewkerne. At the end of Market Street, bear left into South Street. Follow South Street right to the bottom and we are on the right han side. PLEASE IGNORE ALL THE “ROAD CLOSED” SIGNS in South Street. They refer to the section of road beyond Antiques Bazaar.
FROM BRIDPORT & DORCESTER. Follow A356 through Misterton, going righthanded over the railway bridge. Join the one way system in Station Road. You will find Antiques Bazaar at the bottom, on the left just past the filling station.
FROM EXETER, CHARD AND ILMINSTER Follow A30 from Chard into Roundham, then Crewkerne. Turn right at the bottom of Church Street, into Market Street. At the end of Market Street, bear left into South Street. Follow South Street right to the bottom and we are on the right hand side. PLEASE IGNORE ALL THE “ROAD CLOSED” SIGNS in South Street. They refer to the section of road beyond Antiques Bazaar.
FROM A303 Follow A356 into Crewkerne. Turn right at the mini roundabout. At the end of Market Street, bear left into South Street. FROM LYME REGIS Follow B3165 through Clapton. At Maiden Beech crossroads (40mph speed limit) turn right into Cathole Bridge Lane. Take first left into Lang Road. Then turn right into Kithill. Antiques Bazaar is at the bottom of Kithill on the righthand side.

Phase 5: 9/9/24 for 2 weeks there will be a full closure on Station Road at the bridge.
Wales & West will ensure residents can access their property and pedestrian access will remain at all times. Thomson Drive residents will have to turn either right or left, depending on which phase the works are in.
Wales & West will be delivering a newsletter to the town to inform residents of the work and will be in touch directly with any household affected.
